The secret to Real Happiness is Progress. Progress is equal happiness. When we make progress in any areas of our lives on a regular basis, we feel alive. Progress is aliveness too. We have to work to change, not work on change. Change is automatic happening, but progress is not. So we have to keep on progressing in all aspects of our lives either emotion, spiritual, relationship or finance; and to make them better, we feel happy.
Here are the three simple steps to progress or to change in any areas of your life:
- First, we have to have a “Compelling Vision” which is what we really want, what excites us, what you here to create, and so on. It has to have something power to push you through to reach or achieve those visions/goals, not pull. Will power or pull power is not going to last, but the PUSH power will last.
- Second, make sure there is “Enough Reasons” to support your vision. Remember, reasons always come first, action comes second.
- Third, “Review and Feel” it every day. When we want something so bad, something that we cannot even stop thinking of, and something that we want to attract to our lives – although we don’t know how to get it, but when we keep thinking of it every day, visualize it, imagine it, and feel about it, eventually we will find the ways and are attracted to something we want or to someone who can assist us to get what we want. As a matter of fact, when we have a clear and compelling vision with strong enough reasons to support that vision and we review it every day, it becomes part of our selves. Then a part of our brain called Reticular Active System (RAS) becomes incredibly acute at noticing what we want and getting us to move forward.
Finally, to achieve lasting change on anything we want is to Raise Our Standard (Turn “Should” into “Must”). When you identify yourself in a new way and you own it every day, and that is becoming your standard (how you live), you will find the way that make that standard live. However, to achieve the lasting change, the standard needs to be backed up by rituals which are the actions that we do consistently to shape our current conditions in the areas that we want to accomplish.
